Running a campaign store from Singapore

Looking for merchandise to support your campaign? Apart from running the campaign, such as a mission trip overseas, it is also important to put the word out for more support so merchandise like t-shirts are often a good way to do so.

Previously, the only option would be to get hold of a sponsor to purchase merchandise in bulk. However, unsold merchandise means wasting those precious support and therefore we have launched the first campaign store solution in Singapore. This allow individuals or organisations to run a one off campaign to achieve a financial target.

Campaign stores are simple one-page websites containing one custom product that is available for sale for a specified period of time in which to reach a sales target. You have the option to choose the product to be used in the campaign, configure the decoration, set the sales target and campaign length and choose when fulfillment should take place.

Bear in mind that this is "live" for only a short period of time (7 - 21 days).. If you are looking to run a year long campaign then opening an affiliate store will be more suitable.

Do I need to be a registered charity or Non-Profit Organisation (NPO)?

- No, anyone can open a campaign store because this is similar to running a fundraiser for a specific purpose.

What are the requirements to open a campaign store?

- You will need a PayPal account because the profits will be transferred via PayPal. There might be PayPal fees associated with withdrawing below a minimum amount which you can check with PayPal.

Can I run multiple campaign stores to sell different products?

- If you are looking to sell a variety of products, then you should consider running an affiliate store instead. The store does not have a "closing" date and you will have the option to sell multiple designs on multiple products. Bear in mind that it's more time consuming to setup compared to a campaign store.
